Indian spirituality : U.G. Krishnamurti

“My mission, if there is any, should be, from now on, to debunk every statement I have made. If you take seriously and try to use or apply what I have said, you will be in danger.”

U.G.Krishnamurti was an enigmatic indian thinker, someone who demolished everything people hold dear : God, love, relationships,… In his “teaching”, there was no place for hope, love, peace or spiritual salvation. Uppaluri Gopala Krishnamurti ( 1918-2007) was unrelated to another thinker, Jiddu Krishnamurti. Some considered him as someone apart, a rebellious guru while others saw in him a pale imitation of J.Krishnamurti.

“The plain fact is that if you don’t have a problem, you create one. If you don’t have a problem, you don’t feel that you are living.”

“The line of demarcation between the mystic and the madcap is very thin. This one, the madcap, is a clinical case and the other is on the way.”

“Nature does not use anything as a model. It is only interested in perfecting the species. It is trying to create perfect species and not perfect beings.”

“Religions have promised roses but you end up with only the thorns.”
